Wheelers Family Auto Group Joins Mid-State Technical College for College Camp 2026

Wheelers Family Auto Group is proud to be part of Mid-State Technical College’s College Camp 2026, a full-day, hands-on career exploration event for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade next fall.

College Camp will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus. The event gives middle school students the chance to experience what it feels like to be a college student while exploring real-world career paths through interactive workshops and activities.

This year’s camp theme, “Passport to Fun: A Summer Youth Career Camp,” invites students to travel through different “career destinations” across campus. Campers will take part in hands-on workshops, try new skills, meet professionals, and learn more about the opportunities available in today’s workforce.

Wheelers Family Auto Group is excited to participate in this event and help students get a closer look at career possibilities in the automotive industry. For many students, middle school is the perfect time to start discovering what they enjoy, what they are good at, and how those interests can connect to future education and career choices.

The automotive field offers a wide range of career paths, from service and repair to technology, sales, customer care, management, parts, collision work, and beyond. Events like College Camp help students see that careers are not just something to think about “someday.” They are built through curiosity, hands-on learning, and early exposure to different industries.

Partnering with Mid-State Technical College for College Camp is a great opportunity to encourage young learners to explore, ask questions, and imagine where their skills and interests could take them.

College Camp attendees will explore multiple career areas throughout the day, including options in trades, engineering, healthcare, business, agriculture, media, design, cosmetology, welding, auto collision repair, and more. The event includes workshops and activities, snacks, lunch, a camp gift, and transportation options from select Mid-State campus locations.
