Celebrating 10 Years of Wheelers Chevrolet GMC of Wisconsin Rapids

January 29, 2025, marks a significant milestone for Wheeler’s Family Auto Group: the 10-year anniversary of Wheelers Chevrolet GMC of Wisconsin Rapids. This moment not only reflects their dedication to the auto industry but also the enduring legacy of the Wheeler family’s commitment to excellence and community.
A Legacy Rooted in Family
In 2015, Maryann Wheeler, the matriarch of the Wheeler family, purchased Neuville Buick in Wisconsin Rapids. Shortly after, she added Ironside GMC to the Wheeler family’s portfolio in 2016. That same year, she made her final acquisition, Wehrs Chevrolet in Bangor, and relocated the franchise to Wisconsin Rapids. Maryann’s vision and determination laid the foundation for the Wheeler’s expansion and success in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
Tragically, Maryann passed away in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and resilience. Her children, Daniel and Mary Jo, stepped up to honor their mother’s memory by carrying forward her vision. With the construction of new state-of-the-art facilities in Wisconsin Rapids, they have solidified Wheeler’s presence as a trusted name in the community and beyond.
A Growing Footprint Across Wisconsin
Today, Wheeler’s Family Auto Group operates multiple locations across the region, including Marshfield, Merrill, Medford, Abbotsford, Coloma, and Wisconsin Rapids. This expansion reflects the family’s dedication to serving their customers with exceptional service and quality vehicles. Yet, amidst their growth, Wheeler’s remains steadfast in their core values of treating employees and customers like family.
More Than a Business
The success of Wheeler’s Family Auto Group is rooted in the people who make it possible. Daniel and Mary Jo emphasize the importance of their employees, recognizing them as the backbone of their business. Likewise, they are deeply grateful to their loyal customers, who have become an extension of the Wheeler family.
Maryann Wheeler’s words continue to inspire her children and the entire organization: “With hard work, determination, and a little elbow grease, a person could do anything.” This philosophy drives every decision and fuels their commitment to excellence.
Looking Ahead
As they celebrate 10 years of ownership in Wisconsin Rapids, Daniel and Mary Jo Wheeler reflect on their journey with gratitude and pride. They remain committed to honoring their parents’ legacy while building a bright future for Wheeler’s Family Auto Group. Whether it’s through community engagement, investing in their team, or ensuring every customer leaves satisfied, the Wheelers are dedicated to making a difference.
Here’s to the next decade of success, family, and community with Wheeler’s Family Auto Group!
