K9 Unit Brat Fry’s Raise $6000 for Local Law Enforcement

In August, Wheelers Family Auto Group was proud to host two fundraising events aimed at supporting local law enforcement K9 units. The brat fry events took place in Marshfield and in Wisconsin Rapids, respectively. Each raised funds for the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department K9 Unit, the Marshfield Police Department K9 Unit, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department K9 Units. This year’s event raised $6,000 for these departments!

These community-oriented events are a great opportunity for residents and businesses alike to show their support for the invaluable work of local K9 units. All proceeds are donated directly to the respective K9 units, helping them continue their essential role in ensuring public safety.

“We are excited to host this annual event in collaboration with the Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield Police Departments, as well as the Wood County Sheriff’s Department,” said Mary Jo Wheeler-Schueller, co-owner with brother Daniel Wheeler, of Wheelers Family Auto Group. “Our K9 units are crucial in maintaining the safety and security of our communities, and we are committed to supporting their efforts.”

In addition to the brat fry, attendees had the chance to view a variety of vehicles, meet the K9’s, and learn about EV’s.
