Wisconsin Rapids Kwik Trip Sweepstakes Winner Drives Away in a New Chevy Colorado from Wheelers

A Wisconsin Rapids man has a brand-new set of keys after winning big through the Kwik Trip Red Zone Midwest Tour Sweepstakes.

Charles Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids recently took delivery of a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 at Wheelers, located at 2410 W. Grand Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. Johnson received $50,000 toward a vehicle of his choice through the sweepstakes and selected the rugged midsize pickup as his prize vehicle.

The celebration took place at Wheelers, conveniently located next to the Kwik Trip tied to Johnson’s winning entry. Representatives from both Kwik Trip and Wheelers were there as Johnson picked out his truck and received the keys.

“This is such an exciting moment for Charles and for Wisconsin Rapids,” said Mary Jo Wheeler, owner of Wheelers. “We’re proud to be part of this celebration and to help Charles drive away in a vehicle he’s truly excited about.”

Johnson chose the 2026 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, a truck known for its off-road capability, bold design, and everyday versatility.

For Johnson, the win came as a surprise.

“I’m excited to drive this, it’s awesome,” Johnson said, adding that he and his wife had wanted a truck for a long time.
